Postcard from Shanghai - Digital
Over the course of recreating Shanghai, I’d also begun to reimagine it. So, following the completion of the physical model, I moved onto a digital model in Rhino, which enabled me to add new greenspaces and wider streets. I’d also begun to imagine ways of playing with the perspective through which a user might experience the city, ultimately deciding to shrink them to the size of a butterfly. Here, you can see the initial path that I plotted.
